Halloween Time!!!

Every year we find plenty of things to do for Halloween. The Fall Festival at Pathfinder elementary is one of the hits, the last couple of years we have also gone to Schnepf Farms(which is always a blast), and then of course Trick or Treating. This year Ashlyn was the singer Pink. We did our best to make her look like the rock star that she has wanted to be for the last two years, I think her costume was awesome. Ryker was Bumblebee from the movie Transformers-nothing is better than being your dad's favorite car for Halloween.

Blue Magic

This is now Ashlyn's second year playing soccer as well as my first attempt as her coach. We had a great season and I really enjoyed all the girls that I coached. I must say that Ashlyn was by far the best one on the team averaging 6 goals per game. She was not only great at scoring goals but she was also very kind and tried to help her teammates score as well. She is super fast and can take the ball away from almost anyone when she is playing defense. Here are some pictures of this years season.

All of our games were played on Fridays nights, it was always chilly but despite the cold Ryker was our biggest cheerleader.

Fall Break

This year for Fall Break we took a quick trip to Utah. We were only there for 3 full days but the highlights of the trip were going to the Pumpkin Patch with all your cousins and celebrating Ashlyn's birthday early.

Ashlyn had a great birthday celebration. Grandma Connie bought Ashlyn the dog cake that she has wanted forever. Aunt Katie got her My little pony, Grandma got her Bendaroos and an outfit, and Aunt Nikki gave her a credit card which Ashlyn later used to buy her own Ipod.

Ryker's First Day of Preschool

Ryker started preschool the first week of September. This is his second year of Preschool with Ms. Kerry at Rising Star Preschool. Ms. Kerry is such a great teacher and Ryker is learning a lot. We will see if he is ready for the big leap to Kindergarten next year or if we keep him back a year so he can be a BIG linebacker for a football team someday!

Ryker's Birthdays!!!

I can't believe my baby is 4, but I love him to pieces and am so thankful he part of our family.
First we celebrated Ryker's Birthday in Utah with my family, Grandma Connie made his day by surprising him and taking him to Toys R Us where Ryker picked out his remote control camaro and to Kohls's where he got to pick his own outfit, and even better a Transformers cake!

Then on his real Birthday August 21st we had a party for him at our house. What's not fun having a bunch of little kids running around like crazy getting wet.
