Christmas Day!!!

I don't think I have ever had a bad Christmas Day, I think it has something to do with Christ in the word Christmas. When we center our lives around Christ it is so easy to be happy. With that said of course Santa Claus did come to our house and the kids were spoiled as usual! The big gifts this year were the kids Scooters, Ryker got a cool Hot Wheels Scooter and Ashlyn got "Betty"-a little moped scooter.
In the last picture Ashlyn had got some of her own make up in her stocking so she decided to put it on herself and dress herself up. I think it is so unbelievably cute and I am sure she will appreciate this picture one day!

Christmas Traditions

At our house we have a tradition of writing letters to Santa and then burning them in the fire so that Santa can read the smoke. We also started a new tradition this year of making a train out of Rice Krispies-this was super fun and turned out really cute. The last tradition we have done for a couple of years now is a Shepard's dinner on Christmas eve, this year we all dressed as Shepards and had a great time.

Photos with Santa

I don't know any other kids who are lucky enough to get their very own one on one photo shoot with Santa Claus. Bro. Nissle has been so great to us this year and provided so many wonderful pictures. The kids absolutely loved having as much time as they wanted visiting with Santa. It was so cute, as soon as we were done with the pictures Ryker ran out the door to try and see Santa's reindeer, but magically Santa and the reindeer were already gone.

All About Ashlyn

It is hard to have a Birthday around Christmas time and have it still seem special-Ashlyn doesn't seem to mind though, the more presents the better!!! This year we just had a small family party, we woke up and opened presents, then off to Bass Pro Shops to have some fun there and finally we ate at Dave & Busters which seems to be every kids favorite. Also in this post is a picture too cute to pass up of Ashlyn asleep with reindeer ears on and also a picture of her at her school Christmas Program, no one had any special parts to say so I didn't get many pictures this time.

Snowman-what?

We were lucky enough to make it to Utah one last time this year for Thanksgiving and my 30th birthday. I don't know why I didn't take any pictures-maybe I am just in a slump but I didn't hardly take any pictures. Anyhow, the only pictures I took were of Ashlyn making a snowman. I felt like these pictures were worth putting up since we live in Arizona and never get to touch the snow.

Ashlyn's Fairy Photoshoot

We have a wonderful Photographer in our ward name Steve Nissle. He is amazing and has been so kind to us. He took these pictures of Ashlyn to use in an advertisement(her first modeling job!). Anyway I think that they are beautiful and definitely worth remembering.

Car Shows with dad

Peter is such an avid car lover that I should have known my kids would love them just as much as their dad. It is to the point now that both my kids know just about every make and model of every car that they see. They love going to Car Shows with daddy and Peter loves taking them. They also love to get their pictures taken with their favorite cars.
